Not sure what to say?

Mr. Hooker was a dignified, classy man who easily gained the respect of us all in and out of the classroom. I have the pleasure of my dim memory of biology class in 1961-62 and the more recent one visiting with him and Mrs. Hooker at my classes' 40th reunion several years ago. We'll all miss him.

Dear Marjory and Family: I'm so sorry to hear about Ed. I only met him once when we were passing through, but still remember him. I've heard much about him from Marge. He lived a very full life and had much to be proud of.
My best to you and your family.

Sincerely,

Dear Marjory and Family: I am very sorry for your loss. Ed was a gentle soul and I will always treasure the pictures and time I last saw him and your family on your visit to Maui. I could sense the love he had for all of you. Remember, he is the soft star shining at night, and his love will shine down on you always, until you are reunited again.
My warmest love, always, Marjory (Jr.) (Kula, Maui)

Dear Marjory, Leigh, Dan, Scott & Family, Im sorry to hear of your Dads passing...I had such a good time when you guys came out to Maui with him. He was such an accomplished man in so many ways...My Condolences.

MUCH ALOHA

Dear Leigh and family of Mr. Ed Hooker,
Thank you Leigh, for your personal email to all of us, with the attachment about your dad. He was a tower of strength and wisdom. I enjoyed reading the one guest book entry that said " I almost failed his class" but he taught us so much about life and our environment. He seemed to touch all areas of Holland Hall. I guess I admired his golf swing too.
We have a connection, with you and with Holland Hall, and that will keep him in our lives. You...

Dan and Scott, I'm sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. He was such a great guy and fun to be around when we were growing up in Boy Scouts many years ago. He made every boy feel special and able to succeed. I know he loved you both so much. Please accept my condolences and know I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. ~ Clay Hooper

Marjory: I am so sorry to hear about Ed. I had the pleasure of working with him as his insurance agent for 20 years. He was always a gentleman and we visited quite often on the telephone. I appreciated you and Ed for being so loyal to me as your agent and to my company. Again, I am sorry to hear about Ed.

Leigh and family,

I am so sorry for your loss. Your father was a great teacher at Holland Hall and a gentleman. But, it also sounds like he had a great, and wonderful life outside HH. My condolences.

Susan

Ed Hooker was my biology teacher and golf coach at Holland Hall in the mid-1980s. He was a great teacher and a real gentleman with a rare style and grace. He always had a positive and engaging attitude, a warm smile and we will all miss him. He gave me a great appreciation and understanding of the game of golf, which I will always be thankful for. Heartfelt condolences from the Coates family.
