Uncle Eddy, you were loved and will be missed. Thank you for serving your country and for catering my reception. Your nephew, Gary

Good bye my good friend and mess Sgt of Charlie Co 3/35th Cacti. The best mess Sgt I ever knew. Everytime I saw Ed at Westover his van was packed full for the next flea market. Again I say goodbye.

Eddie (you BHCF, you and I know what it stands for), couldn't make one more dinning out. I will miss your sense of humor. You made the best SOS in the Army. My condolances to your family. God Bless you and the others from the 3/35th who have gone before you. "Old soldiers never die, they just fade away. Till we meet again, God Bless.

Eddie has found his final victory with the risen Lord. May the grace, peace and comfort of Jesus Christ rest on all of us in his memory.

Eddie I will always remember you for who you were, a good cook and a great soldier, rest in peace dear friend, sheddy Campbell(ssg retired)

Eddie Houle you did a fine job as a mess SGT. You fed us well. You always came up with something to eat if a troop missed chow. You will be missed. I enjoyed serving with you in the 3/35th INF Cacti BN "Take Arms"

I'm saddened to hear of SFC Houle's passing. I saw Ed for the last time two years ago at the Cacti Dining Out Reunion in S. Hadley. My sympathies and condolances to his family and many friends.

Darn! No more "Houle Food"

Eddie was one of the most dedicated and reliable soldiers I knew in my thirty years of service. A fine man who took care of the troops.
