Not sure what to say?

Ed and I were members of The Brotherhood of U S Army Veterans Association, known to its members as BUSAVA. We tried to hold reunions every year at an Army base. Ed and his son attended one we held at Fort Riley , where Ed enjoyed a ride in a restored WW II half track and was made a member of the Big Red One by the then Division Commander, MG Paul Funk. Every member will always remember Ed as our very own WW II vet. He was special to all of us.

Wow...I know Roy 4 23 years...He was a vey good,kind hearted,nd loving friend...I just found out he passed bout a week away...He WILL b missed...R.I.P.,hun bun....

Growing up it was always a pleasure to see Uncle Roy. He always expressed an upbeat attitude like the rest of the Huelbigs. Several years ago, we went to the Hoboken cemetery to find the gravesite of many of our past relatives. We spent several hours trying to find rhe gravesite to no avail. Since then I was able to find info that narrowed down the area but alas we will not be able to search together. It was a pleasure to sit with him at his 90ieth birthday celebration and to see how...

It was with heavy heart I had ti inform the members of our U S A Brotherhood of Ed Passing . Ed was the last WW11 members to attend our annual reunion , that being at Fort Riley June 2014 . Ed will B missed by all. At our reunions Ed would celebrate his birthday with a big surprise cake from the members . Kevin was so kind to his dad making sure he was on time for our daily events ... We will never forget our American Hero . Ed and I became very good friends over the years , I was sad not...

To the Ganter family: I am sorry for your loss. Roy was a good friend of my uncle (94) from Hoboken for many, many years and they were fellow firefighters and veterans. My uncle Cornelius Murphy (aka Connie or Neil) will be sad to hear of the loss of the last of his long time friends. A small world that my uncle and Albert E's (jr) grandfather were good friends and I have known Albert thru St Catherine's choir for many years. I wish the family peace and recalling all the good and loving...

Mr Ed...It was my pleasure to know you these last few years. One day I will see you again in heaven. Thanks for the good times at the reunions we attended together. Prayers for the family. Until we meet again my friend.

I met Ed thru the BUSAVA reunions that he and Kevin used to attend, I thought of him as a true hero, a man I really admired. I feel privileged, and honored to have known him. RM "Ernie" Miller

Our sympathies and prayers are with you!
