Prayers for your families in the loss of your dad. What a great legacy he left for you all! He was a great doctor to my whole family!

What great memories, smiles, and tears this obituary brought to me. Your parents were wonderful Christian people who always had smiles and right words for anyone and everyone they met. Your dad delivered both my children, as well as me and one of my brothers. You will be in our prayers for comfort and peace.

Goodbye to a great man. He took my tonsils out. I will forgive him for not letting me see them after I woke up. Thanks for the ice cream :)

GOD BLESS DOC HUMPHREYS.MY MOTHER LOVED THIS DOCTOR HE TOOK CARE OF US FOR MANY YEARS.MAY THE GATES OF HEAVEN OPEN WIDE FOR THIS SWEET CARING MAN.

I loved Doc Humphreys. He delivered both of my boys! He was so good to me during my pregancies and during my deliveries. I am sorry for your loss but always remember him as "the best" baby doc ever!

Our condolences to the family,"DOC" was our Dr. as well. He will be missed. He did my husbands appendicitis surgery many years ago.

Beth, My sympathies to you and your family for your loss.

My family and I were privileged to know Doc and his family for many years. He was an institution around the B-ville area as was his family. His sense of humor was a great asset for him, along with compassion and dedication to his patients.. His legacy to the Cooper Co. area will never be forgotten..my sympathy to his family.

Doc was always my hero. I almost died while having my first child in 1958. The Humphreys family was on vacation and Doc cut his vacation short and came back to Boonville. He sat by my bed for two days and held my hand. I can still hear him saying, "Come on soldier, you can make it!" My blessings to all his family.
