Mary and Ellen, so sorry to hear today of the passing of Eddie. I remembered today, how I would call him "Father Hurley" as our inside joke, because of his compassion and kindness. I always felt like he had a genuine caring for my well-being somehow, like the perfect priest. I also was glad he shared with me his humor and keen knowledge of sports, especially football. Dear Mary & Ellen, I just learned of Ed´s untimely passing today. I am so sorry for your loss and wish I could have been there for you both. I have many happy memories of political gatherings and Ed´s humor so long ago. My sincere condolences go out to you. He was a great guy!
