Edward W. Hutton STAATSBURG Edward W. Hutton, 74, a longtime resident of Staatsburg, died Saturday, June 10, 2006 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. Mr. Hutton worked as a field engineer for IBM for 37 years. He retired from IBM, Poughkeepsie, in 1991. He served in the US Army during the Korean War and was a recipient of the Korean Service Medal with 1 Bronze Service Star. Born March 25, 1932 in Kingston, NY, he was the son of Harry and Anna Bernosky Hutton. On June 4, 1955 in Kingston, he married Joan M. Wood. Mrs. Hutton survives at home. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Edward W. Hutton, Jr. and wife, Gayle of E. Aurora, NY; Command Chief Stephen K. Hutton and wife, Korey, stationed at Ramstein Air Base, Germany; Kenneth M. Hutton of La Cieba, Honduras; one daughter, Jennifer L. D'Onofrio and husband, Jeff, of Manchester, CT; eight grandchildren, Shannon, Stacey, and Erin Hutton, all of Clovis, NM, Matt, Thomas and Brooke Hutton, all of E. Aurora, NY, and Nicole and Gabriel Hutton, both of Cheektowaga, NY; and brother, Harry Hutton and wife, Veronica of Estero, FL. He was predeceased by two sons, Christopher and Edward Hutton. Calling hours will be from 4-7 pm, Tuesday, June 13th at Sweet's Funeral Home, Inc., Rte. 9, Hyde Park. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
