IVERSON, Edward Jefferson Jr., "Jimmy," of Richmond, Virginia, formerly of Beaverdam, departed this life on Sunday, November 4, 2012. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Sr. He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Collette Barnes (Ben) of Durham, N.C.; son, Gary Anderson of Ashland, Va.; mother, Edmonia P. Iverson of Beaverdam; siblings, Shirley I. Craft, Gloria I. Williams, Edna Iverson, Karen I. Dickerson (Marshall) and Wayne Iverson, two nieces, one nephew, four beloved great-nephews, and one great-niece, three uncles, three aunts; great-aunt, Julia Smith, and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at the Henry W. Dabney Funeral Home 518 N. Washington Hwy. Ashland, Va. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday 1 p.m. at St. James Baptist Church, 14482 Old Ridge Rd., Beaverdam, Va. Dr. W.T. Carter officiating.

Dear jimmy .. I want to say so much to u I love u dearly an miss u more than ever u played a huge role in my life shopping at the best places , go fishing , eating good and best enjoying life with u I will always cherish those moments with u ! Just wantrd to tell, u again I, love u my other father figure dnt kno u were going to be with ur god I will never forget u saying spare me the himiliation Amanda lol my, mommy alberta also will miss uu so much love u jimmy!

I just found out about your going to glory Jimmy,, I certainly will miss you and all the long talks about fishing,,you were a dear friend to all will truly miss you and your humor, especially the crew at the barbershop!!RIP,, Family stay strong, my prayers are with you all,,,

I'm sorry for the passing of my cousin Jimmy..so many memories of him and our growing up together..Us playing baseball in mama's front yard..going to the spring to get water and u getting Barbara out because she fell in it lol. Y'all made me into a tomboy lol. Well anyway Jimmy so many are going to miss u, but u are wit God now.Tell Mama Hattie to prepare a place for me. "Well Done" u can come on in..RIP cuz..much love.
