I first met Eddie as a coworker at the US Mint. Turned out we were both Vietnam vets, and had both formerly worked at the Navy Yard. He was a good guy to work with, a knowledgable mechanic who was not afraid to tackle a difficult job. His dry humor and wisecracks made it a pleasure to work with him. After retirement we kept in touch via email, often reflecting his sharp wit. I will miss his friendship. Condolences to his family. Rest In Peace Ed.
