Not sure what to say?

I am grateful to have had Ed Denes as a math teacher in 1969 when he came to teach at Laycock School before it became Greens Farms Country Day. He had a lot of enthusiasm for the subject and made learning math fun. He remembered people in my class years later when we came back for our reunions. He was a positive and wonderful man. He will be missed!

I invited Ed to my graduation from MIT and to my delight, he was able to make it! I belive he took the Amtrak up to Boston, Ed was a big booster of public transportation.

I was a student employee at GFA in the late 90s, working in the Registrar Office during the summers. I was fortunate enough to get to know Ed when I was at FCDS. We met at a conference about laptops, and we found we had so many things in common, especilly the love of putting together school schedules. He was a wonderful man, full of compassion and passion, and I am so glad to have known him.

From the baskerball
Courts of Bridgeport to GFA, you will always be remembered as the best teammate and friend.

On behalf of the 'Bruno' family, we wish to express our sorrow and prayers. May he 'Rest in Peace',eternaly and remembered in 'Life'. On a personal note he was in addition to his professional achievements, a excellent athlete, known for his basketball skills, trick shots, and played competitively, on many semi-pro level teams in the area, as well as a great teammate, coach, and mentor. Respectfully, Ken Bruno, Retired CEO, Boys and Girls Clubs of Bpt., and Family

I enjoyed being a friend and neighbor to both Ed and Cathy for 4 years. I tried to stay in touch even after moving to Florida. My deepest condolences to the family.

We enjoyed planning our 1961 reunions with Ed’s guidance. We had so much fun all hanging out every Thursday night planning and replanning!! He was such a great guy. The class of ND61 will never be the same. Rest In Peace dear Ed.
