Edward H. Jeffries

Dear Ruth and family,

Mr. Jeffries was my 10th grade biology teacher at GWHS in 1974. Myself, my twin brother and some of our other classmates used to come to your house sometimes to "hang out". In fact, we were just talking about that at our 30th reunion which was just held in November! We thought about how something like that could never happen in today's world.

Mr. Jeffries was a great, great teacher. Though I did not pursue biology (I really hated the frog dissection...

Dear Ruth, Jan, Gwyneth, and Nancy,

Our "gang" so enjoyed Ed's wry, sometimes self-deprecating humor. He and you were and are great friends. This great guy and WWII veteran was certainly a member of The Greatest Generation.
