Not sure what to say?

We are so sad that Ed has left this world and offer our heartfelt sympathy to the family. He was a good guy. My wife, Jo and I enjoyed Ed and Lyyle's company at many NASA dances at the Gilruth Center. We have not had contact with them since we moved from League City in 2003. I cannot explain how thoughts of Ed and Lyyle came into our heads this past month but maybe Ed was involved. We have been searching the internet for several days and we were shocked and saddened to find his obituary...

My most sincere condolences to Lyyle, Mike, Chris and all who knew and loved Ed. Ed made a valuable contribution to human space flight exploration and leaves a wonderful legacy behind. Wishing you all comfort and peace.

I am deeply sorry for your family's loss. May your hearts find comfort in God's beautiful promises for the future. John 6:40

May the bereaved family be comforted by looking forward to Jesus' promise recorded at John 6:40.

Ed was a valuable contributor to NASA's manned space missions, from Apollo to Space Shuttle! He was one of the friendliest and most dedicated mission planning analysts in our Mission Planning and Analysis Division for many years. Smart, competent and good-natured, Ed was a pleasure to work with!
