I am so sorry to hear about Ed's passing, I never got a chance to meet him but I do know that he made my sister a very happy woman and I am talkig about Anita Ellis.
She did not get to spend a whole lot of his life withshe did, she cheriished this man very much. I am glad that she did get to know him and spend his last days with him. Anita God will see you thru and I know that you and Edward will meet again in a much better place. May God bless and be with his family at this time.

Mr. Keating (and Mrs. Keating) were my favorite teachers in junior high. I loved his sense of humor and dry wit. My older son also had Mr. Keating as a teacher and football coach, and he counted Mr. Keating among his favorites as well. He will always be fondly remembered.

Mr. Keating was one of my favorite teachers in Jr. High. Then I had a chance to be his nurse not too long ago. It was nice to have a chance to get know him as a person, not just a teacher. It saddens me that his life had to end so soon. He always had a smile and a wisecrack.

Your family is in our prayers! There was many a time when Elmwood Jr. High football and wrestling team had to go up against Ed and his teams. He was always fair(LOUD! but fair). I always enjoyed the competition and savored and relished the rare victories and tried to learn from the many losses! Herb Garn former Elmwood coach
