Not sure what to say?

So soory to hear of Coach's passing. Such a great educator and role model! I remember that he treated the female athletes as equals of the boys, long before federal legislation mandating the equality. It was an honor to have known him during my years at MWCHS (1959-1963)

Mrs. Kellman & Family,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Coach Kellman. It is hard for me to put into words the feelings and memories I have for him.
50 years ago he taught me to swim at the Pond in C.V. He was my P.E. teacher, he ran Saturday morning Rec., my 1st football coach, my boss when I was a Life Guard, my P.E. Dept. head when I first started teaching at M.W., the A.D.that gave me my 1st Fooball coaching job and finally my mentor and friend throughout...

I didn't know him, but he seems like a remarkable man with TWO very remarkable careers. The world will surely be poorer without him.

Ed was a client, and more importantly a great friend, who I knew since the late 1970s. He was an avid college basketball fan and he shared my love of Syracuse College basketball (my alma mater). I could always count on a lively discussion about the final four basketball tournament, especially the winning tournament two years ago. To Jean and family, I extend my heartfelt condolences. I will miss seeing Ed in April. He was a man with a genuine twinkle in his eye, and I considered myself lucky...

He will be sorely missed. Coach Kellman was my coach throughout my high school years (1958-1963). My family and I knew him well. Even after I graduated, he and Jeannie came to my dad's restaurant almost every week so I saw them alot. I worked for my dad throughout the years so I had the opportunity to see them often. My son Adam, who bussed tables at my dad's restaurant while he went to school, also got to know him pretty well. Said he was a nice man. They were good friends to my dad and I...

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I remember Coach when
I was a student at MWCS and when I
later worked in the office. He was
always so upbeat and polite. Teachers like him are a rare thing today so to have memories like that instilled in all of us that knew him is a blessing.

It is with a heavy heart to hear of the passing of one the greatest teachers and coaches in Monroe-Woodbury Central High School. Coach Kellman has alway been on my mind.
My condolences to Jean and the rest of the family at this time of sorrow. May God bless you all at this time and in the days to come.
