Not sure what to say?

I'll never forget the big tall nice man who came to teach us art. My condolences to his family.

I bid a fond farewell to a great teacher (he had my daughter as a student), Irish scholar (he'd try phrases out on colleagues in the teachers' room), UMASS football fan (I took pictures of him in his reserved seat as he marked his program), and an all-around gentle fun-loving guy!

I remember Mr. Kennedy as a wonderful patient man. He was my art teacher and always took the time to talk to any child that was having a problem. He will surly be missed.

I remember Mr.Kennedy very well. He was my art teacher at Metcalf School. I've thought of him through the years since I teach and I would compare him to the art teachers at my school. I am very sorry to hear of his passing.

Ed was such a kind, caring, and thoughtful person. I always enjoyed running into him out for walks on Northampton St. He was my Art teacher, my children's teacher, and my coworker. He will be missed.

I remember Mr. Kennedy as my art teacher at Metcalf School. He was also a classmate of my parents at Holyoke High School. Once a Knight.....always a Knight!!! My condolences to the family.

A great champion for the City of Holyoke and U Mass athletics , had the pleasure of talking Holyoke history with during my time at HCC

Mr. Kennedy you were such a wonderful teacher and person all around. You started me into loving art as a child and a adult continued it into my college years and career. Thank you for being so inspiring. We need more Mr. Kennedys in this world. Rest in Peace with the angels and god bless your family.

We are so saddened to hear of Mr. Kennedy's passing. Both Richard Bihler and myself had him for an awesome are teacher. He would be at the board and start with, "Now"... and an amazing drawing he would whip up in a flash! He was so kind, patient and always smiling. Thank You Mr. Kennedy! "Until we meet again, may God hold you in the Palm of His Hand".
