                                                                         In Loving Memory 


 Edward “Eddie” “Cowboy“ Kerivan, age 97, of Lynn, passed away on Friday, Dec. 24, 2021, at Salem Hospital.


 Raised in Lynn, he was the son of the late Edward and Grace (Heisler) Kerivan, also the husband of the late Arline (MaGinn) Kerivan. He was pre-deceased by four son’s John, Daniel, Michael and Russell Kerivan. Survived by sister Marion Crowe of Lynn, three daughters Linda Thompson of Saugus, Pauline Pramataris of Altamonte Springs, FL and Laura Banville of Lynn and son Donald Kerivan of Lynn. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.


Edward was a Merchant Marine in WWII and awarded the Merchant Marine Combat Bar. He truly loved his country.  He loved his family and taking his walks to the Lynn Commons with his cowboy hat on. Anyone who passed by would say “hello cowboy”, that made his day. 


                              He was loved by all who met him and will surely be missed by all! 


                                   A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.

I’m so grateful that I am able to say that I met and grew up with my great-grandfather around. You’ll never be forgotten and will forever be missed. I love you!

So sorry Kathleen. Blessings to you and all your family during this tough time. I didn’t know your grandfather, your COWBOY, but I know you and could see that you were his Angel, here on earth. You surely have his spirit. Know that he’s smiling down on all of you.❤
