Not sure what to say?

7 long years but the memories are as vivid today as they were 30 years ago. Ed was a powerhouse in the courtroom and many a young prosecutor was taken to task by Ed. I always knew I had to double check my work with Ed on the defense. I miss those days and the challenges Ed represented. He was tough but it was never personal.

Hand salute to this 371st Fighter Group veteran! His former unit still flies today, now designated as the 142nd Fighter Wing of the Oregon Air National Guard, providing air defense of the greater Pacific Northwest.

Happy Hour at the Outback will never be the same. Ed's easy laughter, his quick wink and mischievous good nature will be missed. I raise my glass to one last "Cheers" for a man and his stories that no other can replace.

Ed Kirkland, you will be dearly missed.

Sorry,John, we know you will miss him.

Thank to the Kirkland family for loving my family and my mother Amy for many, many years. You will be remembered always.
Ethel "Dell" Hill (Daughter of Amy)

Gifted. Fearless. Respected. Admired. Second to none in a courtroom. Extraordinary talent. So liked.

This man saved my life in more ways then one. May God bless him.

I remember him well, and, as Susan Handley said, it was indeed an adverture growing up in the same neighborhood. To Johnny and Robert, we are sorry for your loss.
