Edward Emanuel Knauss III

While Ed lived a long life of great fulfillment, that does not diminish the sadness of losing a loved one. So to Holly, Bill, Harry, Lana and the entire Knauss family, know that you are all in my thoughts and have my deepest condolences.

Ed was a true gentleman and a dedicated professional from the "old school." When I first joined the Bar nearly 50 years ago I was involved in litigation against Ed and quickly learned that he was honest, fair, and friendly, but still an effective and vigorous advocate for his client. Ed was a fine role model, and the profession needs more like him.

Alice and I were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of a truly wonderful man. I have found memories of throwing a football and baseball with him and Ted as well as a vacation in Laport when I was a young child.
