Not sure what to say?

Prof Knight was an incredible man..he will be sorely missed.

I'm very sorry to hear of Eds passing. We knew each other in junior high, growing up in East Springfield. We were reacquainted many years later on the SPD. One of the good guys!! My condolences to his family and friends. RIP Ed

Edward, Auxiliary Support Chaplain, US Coast Guard Auxiliary ... on board!

Glad We got to see you in Gloucester at my daughter´s Pasta Shop. Rest in Peace my friend and condolences to the family.

Was Honored to have worked with Ed. He was a true gentleman and served the City of Springfield with pride. He truly made a difference

I met Eddie when we were students at A.I.C. and he joined the S.P.D. shortly after I did. Eddie was instantly liked by all. That is an under appreciated tool in police work. I replaced him one night on his regular post. No matter where I stopped, I was greeted with the same two words, "Where's Eddie?" Anyone who knew Eddie can answer that now.

My deepest condolences to the family. I have nothing but fond memories of him and the family. They were always so kind to me and my family. May he rest in peace.

My condolences to Ed Knight´s family. I had the pleasure of working with Ed over many years the SPD. Ed´s calming approach to many situations helped bring a different perspective for not only the community we had to deal with but also to the Officers involved. Rest in Peace my friend Kevin Devine retired SPD

So sorry to hear of Ed's passing. He was a very kind person always had a smile and a positive outlook. A man of great faith may he rest in peace.
