I was just informed of Eddie's passing and I'm so sorry that we've all lost one of the most interesting people I've known.
We flew together on one particular story stands out in my mind, we were flying my plane back from Florida to Pa. and we'd gotten to Raleigh, NC and realized that we had run right into a serious situation. We called flight service and found out there were hail storms and tornado's in the area. Call Raleigh tower and asked to land, they said the field was closed but...
