Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry that Dad has left us. He and Mom will continue cruising in Heaven. You know in your heart that you always took the very best care of him, and he loved you for it.

Our Dear Friend:

Rest certain and be at peace with the knowledge Dad is Home. We enjoyed the many hours of laughter and the great conversations we shared with "Captain Ed" aboard our beloved Delta Queen.

Dear Mary Ann-
Lorna & I are very sorry to hear of Ed's death and are giving you lots of hugs, even if it from afar.
Bill & Lorna

My dear Mary Ann, There are no words that can be said that haven't been said in our phone conversation. You know how much I loved "Dad" and so did Gary. I'm sure they are together in heaven watching every step we make. How lucky I was as a "Red Hot Mama" on our dear Delta Queen, to be able to kiss the top of "Dad's" head so many times. I have several photos of those red kisses. I love you as hundreds of your many friends do. Our hearts are with you and we'll always be here for you. ...

Dear Mary Ann
You are in our prayers at this difficult time. Being a care-giver can be difficult, but when all is done peace fills the heart knowing that beautiful parent, whom you have nourished with love and support through the years, is now at rest in the arms of Our Lord free from all illness.
Well done Mary Ann!

Love and friendship,

Mary Ann,
Please accept our deepest sympathy. Richard and I were honored to have known your father, and I appreciate your sharing your dad with me when mine passed away. We hope that you will find comfort in the many wonderful memories you have of him.
Love,

Mary Ann. we are so sorry to hear of the "Mayor's" passing. The two special events I remember from the both of you was 2001--after 9/11 when you and your Dad met the "group" in Montreal, and the time when you and Jack along with a
few others almost got left in Clarksville because Carson's phone did not work. Keep your chin up=, and we love you.

2 Timothy 4:7
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. We think that this verse fits our steamboatin' friend "The Mayor". Love and prayers Gary and Carroll

We send our deepest sympathy to you. Captain "Pops" is at peace paddlig down the great river.
