Not sure what to say?

May his soul rest in peace

Ed was a plethora of corny jokes, a huge intellect, deeply patient, loved his kids... and the Mazda Miata. We lost a great person on planet earth as well as a colleague, developer, joke teller, fellow Jew and a friend to many.

Ed was a spectacular soul that will always be kept deeply in my heart. I knew Ed on both a personal and professional level. His wit and brilliance always put a smile on my face. He made working on Enterprise Systems Management a happy endeavor. Blessings and sincerest sympathy to the family during their time of deep grief.

Sheldon, our condolences on passing of your son. Alan & Harriet Sterling

I am so sorry to hear of your family's loss. No parent wants to outlive a child, and even adult children should have their parents until they're old themselves. A friend who didn't even know she was living near Ed ran across the obituary. We knew "Eddie" from Drake University and hadn't been in touch. He was always busy and filled with humor--a lot of funny things happened when he was around, but you probably already know that. Condolences and blessings.

The words I want to say do not seem like they are enough. I am so sorry for your tremendous loss. I was thinking of Ed only the other day. He was a very intelligent and kind man. A good friend and a great mentor to work with. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. And may your memories bring you comfort. Please accept my sympathies and deepest condolences for your loss. Rest Well Ed.

Our hearts go out to Edwards family especially our best friend Sheldon! We know how hard it is to outlive a son thus we can feel and understand your loss.

Joyce and Lloyd

My deepest sympathies on a tremendous loss.
