Not sure what to say?

I can not believe I missed his passing! Mr Kosinski was one of my all time favorite teachers ever. I had two classes with him and I always wanted him to be proud of me. He was a great teacher and had an impactful impression on all of us. His Mother passed during my time with him and a group of us all went to the wake to,pay our respects. Rest in PeCe

I greatly enjoyed being a student in his 10th grade World History class back at Lyman Hall H.S. He inspired me to be a Social Studies teacher for sure! I also enjoyed chatting with him over the many years since I graduated in 1972.

The loss of Mr. Kosinski reminds me to always cherish those special moments that I have spent with greatness. I was Mr. Kosinski's token hippie colleague at Sheehan High School. It was Ed who pulled my long since lost, long hair when he needed to. Mr. Kosinski could pontificate with the best of any MTS teacher. I enjoyed his rants, but never laughed out loud. I needed my hair. May his soul find that perfect social studies library.

As a guidance counselor I have fond memories of the good times we had working together at Sheehan High. Ed was a great teacher and he had a unique way in making his classes both interesting and fun at the same time. Rest in peace Ed.

My deepest sympathies to the family of Mr Kosinski. I have thought about him and I will always will. I met Mr. Kosinski at Lyman Hall when I , who could hardly speak English, was assigned to one of his classes at that school. He was so helpful and dedicated to my welfare (as well as other students) that he became my friend almost immediately. Imagine, sitting there in a class, not knowing how to speak English very well, being about 4 years older than most students, working full time (third...

I was fortunate to have Mr. Kosienski for three years. His first year and second years of teaching at Washington Street School while I was in 7th and 8th grade and then again when he became a history teacher at Lyman Hall High School. He opened my eyes to the world and the people living throughout the world. I enjoy reading about history and love to travel in large part because of him. We were so fortunate to have teachers like Mr. Kosienski. May God bless you and all of your family...

I had Mr. Kosinski as a teacher at Lyman Hall, Class of 1962. He was a very effective teacher with a very humorous side. Made learning fun. He attended our 50th (I think) class reunion as an invited guest with a few other teachers. He still had his sparkle. RIP, Mr. K! You had an impact on so many.

Certainly among the most unforgettable and influential teachers of my time. Mr. Kosinski made a difference in more lives and in more ways than he or anyone may ever know. Remembered fondly for his energetic and wise ways, as well as his boundless humor, integrity and character. The very essence of a great educator and person. Sympathy and condolences to Mr. Kosinski's family, friends and colleagues.

Ed was one of the great ones, with integrity bone deep and love and concern for students (of all ages) a mark of his passion. Most of us retired teachers have good memories of having worked with Ed, either in the same school or on a committee. His wisdom, work ethic and generosity were legion. Thank you, Ed, for all your gifts, shared with prodigality.
