Edward Kovarik

Edward Kovaric, 74, a longtime Lorain County, Ohio, area resident, a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, and an employee of the service garage of the Lorain Water Department until his retirement in 1988, died at Community Health Partners Hospital & Surgical Center in Lorain, Ohio, on Monday, October 23, 2000, following a brief illness. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 26, 2000, 5-8 p.m., at Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway, Lorain. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, October 27, at 10:30 a.m., officiated by the Rev. Steve Bruckner, pastor of Cornerstone Community Church. Burial will follow at Ridge Hills Memorial Park, Amherst Township, Ohio.
