Not sure what to say?

Mark,
My heartfelt condolences to you and your family. May fond memories and the love of family and friends comfort you as it did for me.
Mary Ellen Interlandi

Uncle Ed was one of the sweetest and kindest people I knew. He was always so happy to see his nieces and nephews at our many family reunions. I don't remember ever seeing him without a smile on his face. He will definitely be missed by many. Sending all my love to Aunt Helen and the family.

Ed Kusek was one of the best. I enjoyed working with him at Bulkeley High. I will miss him.

Uncle ED was one of the sweetest persons I have ever known. I always enjoyed how he could tell a story even from his hospital bed. I loved how he smiled when he would call me "Walerie". It warmed my heart to see how he was always the kind teacher especially when he interacted with the young ones at our family reunions and other gatherings. I will miss him dearly. May you rest in peace my dear Uncle Ed. I look forward to seeing you in the resurrection as foretold in John 5:28. You are...

I was in his class 1966, '67, '68 and he was simply, THE BEST.

Ed Kusek, helped to change my life at Bulkeley 65.
Thanks to Ed I have just retired from 42 years of teaching Industrial Arts, always trying to emulate his combination of strenght, kindness and most of all empathy.
I have always loved you Ed

I too, have vivid and fond memories of this gentle gentleman, who along and together with Mr. James Suiter and Mr. Frank Sczela, helped a generation of southend kids/students "get through" Bulkeley. We did not fully realize then, that these combat war veterans of a different generation, had our future interests in mind, and at heart. They were men of character, decency & dedication. Sincere condolences to the Kusek family. May your memories of this good man last a lifetime.

The Kusek Family,

We extend our sympathy to the Kusek family. Dick Jablonski taught in the Industrial Arts Department at the "old
Bulkeley High School." Eddie was Dick's mentor when he first started teaching (September 1965). To quote my husband, "He was a -ell of a guy." We moved from Connecticut in 2004 to relocate to North Carolina. Dick still is in contact with some of the students from the "old" Bulkeley.
Sincerely,
Dick and Judy Jablonski

I remember Mr. Kusek from my high school days. Bless him and bless you - what a wonderful man.
