Not sure what to say?

I had the pleasure of serving with Ed in Korea during the 1965-1966 time frame. We spent many hours on the outdoor basketball court. I´m not surprised he had such a successful coaching career. It was a pleasure knowing him.

I knew Ed from Our lady Queen of Peace grammar school and St. Peter's Boys High School. He was such a great basketball player that they moved him from JV to Varsity in his sophomore year. He played with Larry Bearnarth (former NY METS pitcher and Montreal Expos/Colorado Rockies pitching coach who passed in January 1960) and Gene Sanborn, a local basketball whiz, who is also deceased. Ed was known best for his integrity and ethics. Warmest wishes to his family; he will definitely be missed.

I learned of Ed's passing today after receiving my copy of Niagara's Eagle Alumni Magazine. I am so sorry for this great loss to his family. Ed was a wonderful college classmate. He was liked and respected by all of our Class of 1962. He will be missed by all of us.
