As one of the sons of Bob Herkes, I am sure that the 4 of them, Bones, Dudley, Dad, and Mickey are up there sharing surf shop stories and reliving the Kolohe days that we all knew represented all 4 of these local legends! One of my fondest childhood memories was chasing the torch lighters at the old Kauai Surf along the beach and up to the Planters Bar.
