Not sure what to say?

I was in Ed's musical in 1953 at Sierra College. I'll never forget it. He was very talented and took me to Hollywood where we did another musical.

Well, I'm sorry to hear of Ed's passing. Not mentioned in the short bios I have read is the fact that Ed was a student at Placer (Sierra) Junior College, in Auburn, California, around 1953 or '54. While there, he wrote a musical and I was asked to participate in the pit orchestra (piano). I was in high school at the time. Sorry to say, I was unable to take part in the production, but I still remember one of the songs, that began with the words:

Just a home in Hoboken,

I only met him a few times but he was an interesting and talented man. Rest in peace

Wish that I had got to know him better.
He was modest about his many acomplishments.
I'm glad that he got to go to Africa with his lovely and caring wife as he neared the end.
Chet Knight

He was a funny man.
