Thinking of you today, Ed, as I also always do when attending a Cubs game.

Just learning of Eddie's passing. He was a great person and his smile was contagious. We had many great time in Dallas. He will be missed more now that I know he has passed. R.i.p. Eddie.

I'm so sorry to hear about Eddie's passing! I live in Texas and had no idea until today... We spoke on his birthday last year, like we did every year since he moved back north. He was the same ole Eddie - such a warm and funny person, and a loyal friend. I pray that God continues to comfort his family and friends. I know he's truly missed.

As a child I went to church with him and he was a very entertaining person,he was always saying something to make you laugh even if it was something about yourself he was cracking on
