I met Ed in June of 1988 when I started working for the Materials Department (IDOT). I was fresh out of college and he took me under his wing. He was a real joy to work with and funny as hell. I always looked forward to a road trip with Ed as he had a ton of hilarious stories. I eventually met all his family including Dorothy, kids and the brothers. A very nice family. He will truly be missed. My condolences and prayers to all the family and friends of Ed Lamoureux. Love, Tom Gill
