Not sure what to say?

I met Ed when he was an auditor for the State and he would come to our office to do audits. We became quick friends and he was so much fun to have around. He scared the daylights out of me once pretending to have a mouse in his hands (and it was actually a sponge!) He truly had a an infectious personality. Over the years, after he retired, we would occasionally run into each other in the grocery store and he always recognized me and we'd get caught up on all the happenings. He was such a...

Ed was my swim coach for 4 years when I swam with the CVWM club team in the 1980's, and I would sometimes see him around the NU campus in the years after. I have only the best, fondest memories of him - what a kind, giving, generous man. I'm so sorry for your loss - he will be missed!

Ed was simply the Best! He introduced himself as soon as I started practicing with the rugby team my freshman year. He would come to all our games, even our away games. He would have his seat on the bus when we had to travel. He even came all the way to Cali to support us when we were fighting for the National Championship. He would also cheer me on as I also played hockey at Norwich. Seeing Ed at the rugby and hockey games was always a pleasure. He would always have something nice to say...

I am saddened to learn of Ed's passing. I first met him as an age group swimmer as I competed for the Wavemakers. He frequently worked with our team during our practices after the Norwich team. Ed was good to me...I set a team record in the 200 backstroke and it was not going to stand very long. He made sure to get my name up on the record board as quick as he could so I could see my name up there. It was a whole lot of little things. He also officiated many of the college meets while I...
