Uncle Ed was one of those special people who move quietly and unassumingly through life but leave a deep, loving, and lasting impression. My special connection with Uncle Ed always centered on our love of gardening. It is a comfort to know that he can now enjoy the ultimate garden ... with no limitation and no pain. God bless all of you who will miss him. He will always be alive in our hearts!
Love,

I will never forget Uncle Ed's deep hearty voice, it would always put a smile on my face to hear it. I remember seeing him at Schnucks and he would always stop to chat, and of course my number one memory of him when I was a little girl and he threw me up in the air and my head hit the ceiling tiles in the basement. Everytime I think of him I will smile.

We will miss Uncle Ed around the card table, we will miss him around the cooler, we will miss seeing him with a fishing pole in his hands, we will miss him on the dance floor and we will miss his hearty laugh, but we are all the better for having known and loved him and blessed to have shared his time on earth. He will forever remain very much alive in the hearts of those who loved, respected and treasured him.
