I'd like to share a story about Ned that very few people know. I knew Ned in grade school. I think we were in Cub scouts together, and ran around the neighborhood together as kids. I knew about Ned in high school, but wasn't 'in' with his close friends. One weekend while hanging around in the village with some friends, we were jumped and roughed up by some guys from school. Very sad to learn of your brother's death. While I had a high regard for the entire Leahy family (particularly your mom) I really enjoyed Ned. He was a charming person with a great sense of humor during the time I knew him as a neighbor. Sorry for your loss

Ned was a wonderful spirit! We graduated together and have seen him at the reunions through the years. So sad about his passing, but he lived life to the fullest.

Ned was a classmate and friend. Always had a smile and was just a great person.

Ned was a super nice guy and I have many memories of me and Gaenslen and the rest running wild in our youth. Lori and I were lucky enough to catch up with him last summer after all these years. He will be missed.
