I will always be grateful to Ed for giving me the opportunity to work with PAL and Big Brothers Big Sisters. Working at CYDC with Ed was the best and Jim and I will never forget him. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family.

Ed Ledford was CEO of CYDC when I started working there right out of college. Years later when I became director of Big Brothers Big Sisters, he was our liaison for our college of Social Work interns and served on the advisory council. He always attended Bowl For Kids' sake and supported the program and me in any way he could. I felt Ed's energy in this life. We ran, raced and finished many bridge runs aside each other. Calm winds and following sea's my friend!

To the Ledford family, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Mr. Ed, as I called him. He was always so kind and caring. I enjoyed my time working for him at CYDC . I am praying that you will find comfort in knowing that he was such a compassionate man and the work that he has done is now speaking for him. Be blessed and may God continue to cover you with peace.
