I graduated from Aquinas College with Ed, and I fondly remember him as a gentleman and a loyal friend, with a great sense of humor. Before I was old enough to legally enter a bar, Ed was kind enough to loan me his driver's license so I could join him for a cold one. That was in the early 1960's in Grand Rapids MI before the advent of picture ID. My sincere condolences to Ed's family, as I was very saddened to hear of his passing.
