Not sure what to say?

I have no idea if anyone will see this, since it's 2022 now. My grandparents took me to an expo garden event in Peoria where I found a man painting. I was around 7 or 8 at the time. I'm 25 now. I sat and watched him paint for a while, and when my grandparents came to get me, the man gave me a watercolor painting he had been working on. I just found it again and tried to look the artist up by his signature to find he had passed. I wanted to share this memory because he made my day and made me...

Jill I am so sorry to hear about your Dad, I talked to your sister here at PIP the other day and she told me that he had passed away. You know I was one of Ed's biggest fans, his art was just amazing. I took several classes with him and he was always so kind, encouraging and hilarious. He taught me so much about not being scared of watercolor! We had many, many great conversations over the years here at PIP and I just have the best memories of him, he was a true gem. Thinking of you and him,...

Gerry, I am so sorry to hear of Ed's passing. With sympathies to you and your family. I remembered the good times we have with our dogs. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Donna Willett

Gerry, I am so sad to read about Ed's passing. He was a true gentleman and I considered him a good friend. We just moved back to the Farmington area and am trying to catch up with old friends. We had great memories of working together and sharing our experiences. One of my most vivid memories is talking about his art. God bless. Herb Stufflebeam

Ed and I were friends for 20 years. I enjoyed his stories over a glass of wine at the condo. He was a talented artist and I framed his artwork and exhibited a few pieces at the gallery in the Heights over the years.
I will miss him.
