Not sure what to say?

Just found out about Ed on July 6th.
To Ed, we will miss you and cherish the memories that we have of you and Wilma. To the family, we wish that we could have met his children. Ed loved and thought of you everyday. To Debbie and Jim, thank you for always being there for Ed and helping him. Our prayers are with you all.

Death Angel, did you come and take my friend away?
Was it you who knocked at the door within her last few days? When we answered and no-one could
be found, was it you that came on in and didn't make a sound? Did you watch us care for him, and do everything we could; knowing that you'd
take him without a single word? Did you see how much we loved him, and hugged and kissed his face? He must have realized the, he's going to
a different place.

Did she see you...

We, the family of Ed Listander thank you for the kind expressions of love that we are receiving during this time of grief. We thank each of you for the outpouring of expressions that you are sharing on this guest book. It means alot to read about the lives that were impacted by his humor, and his eagerness to make others laugh. We appreciate you taking the time to grieve with us yet bring comfort at the same time. He had a unique way of bringing out the best in a bad situation. Even during...

You were loved far more than our words can express. Equally as much, you will be missed. We are proud and glad for the years that we had together. We shared so many laughs and had so many fun times together. They will forever be in our hearts. Thanks can never be enough for all that you shared with us through the years. We will always cherish our memories with you as some of the best. You were there to listen through the good times and the bad. And we all went through those times either way,...

If ever two were one, then surely we.
If ever man were lov'd by wife, then thee.
If ever wife was happy in a man,
Compare with me, ye women, if you can.
I prize thy love more than whole Mines of gold
Or all the riches that the East doth hold.
My love is such that Rivers cannot quench,
Nor ought but love from thee give recompetence.
Thy love is such I can no way repay.
The heavens reward thee manifold, I pray.
Then while we live, in love let's...

Memory can tell us only what we were,
In company with those we loved;
It cannot help us find out what each of us,
Alone, must now become.
Yet, no person is really alone;
Those who live no more still echo
Within our thoughts and words,
And what they did has become
Woven into what we are.

To the Living, I am gone,
To the sorrowful, I will never return;
To the angry, I was cheated.
But to the happy, I am at peace.
To the faithful, I have never left.
Talk to me, and I will hear,
your prayers, they comfort me,
your laughter makes me laugh,
but don't weep for me as I have my reward,
I am with the Father and he will never let me perish,
The Lord comforts me, and longs to comfort you.
So be happy my family and don't despair,

If anyone desires a wish to come true,
they must capture a butterfly and whisper that wish to it.
Since butterflies make no sound,
They can’t tell that wish to anyone but the Great Spirit,
So by making the wish and releasing the butterfly,
It will be taken to the heavens and be granted.
Although this legend implies that we should keep our wishes silent,
there are some wishes that need to be expressed out loud.
To those that have been touched by the...

A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.
