Not sure what to say?

Mr Looney saved my life back in 1988. I was a compulsive gambler who attempted suicide. Ed counseled me and got me into a treatment facility. Ed inspired me to help others. I helped start the first young persons meeting in GA. Everything i ever wanted from gambling I got when i stopped. I have a beautiful family free of addiction and I became a special education teacher. RIP Ed....thank you for everything.

At this difficult time, my deepest condolences to my former classmate Ray and his entire family over the loss of Mr. Looney.

Our deepest sympathies to all family members. He was a great guy. Henry's had the best potato salad I ever had!

I will miss the sparkle in his eye and his smile that always lit up a room. He made everyone around him happy

I and we were all blessed to have you in our lives....thank you GOD AND JESUS CHRIST for blessing us with Eddie L. Thank you for all you have done Eddie....thank you for helping those who needed the help, for being there. Thoughts and prayers go out to all who he has touched. Take care and GOD BLESS.

Besides being an across-the-street neighbor of your family, I also worked at Henry's in 1980, when I was in high school. Your Dad was a great guy and you could tell he really cared about his community. I remember his fight against the Independent Prospector very well, and respected the hard work he did to end that wrongdoing. My condolences to you all.

To Karen ,Danny and all the family ...Having just read your dad's obituary with tears flowing I can only say What an incredible witness to your fathers life ! A beautiful man inside and out I..... now enjoying his reward after fighting the good fight ❤ He truly lived his Christianity and his legacy lives in all of you ! Rest in peace now Mr Looney
I'm so sorry I couldn't make it to his wake Kar
With much love & hugs

He was never too busy for anyone and his heart grew bigger with every kind gesture. Without judgement he gently made a difference to many. What a fine example of a good soul!

Condolences to the Looney family. Eddie was a close friend of my parents, Rose and Bill P. In 2005-06 when my father was in the hospital Eddie visited often and those were some of my father's best days before he passed. He brought laughter during a very difficult time and my family was so grateful. He was a wonderful, thoughful man.
