Not sure what to say?

To Ed's Family I grieve with you in your time of loss. I hope that you may experience some degree of satisfaction knowing that Ed inspired me and many other musicians to love making music. I remember him as a kind and caring teacher at Tolman in the early 70's. Thank you Ed.

Dear Doris and Tom, we were sad to hear about the passing of your father (in-law). Mr. Ludwig was my band teacher at Tolman and I remember the passion he had for music and how he tried to pass that on to all his students. Our prayers are with you at this time. Nick & Dorinne Titone

Mr. Ludwig was my music teacher at Tolman (I was class of 1979) and he was a big influence in my life. He gave me a lot of confidence in high school by letting me play for our chorus, etc.
Thank you, Mr. Ludwig and rest in peace

A student of Mr Ludwig from 68 to 71. Many great memories.

He was my first piano teacher,

Irene, I was saddened today to hear of Ed's passing. He had a passion for music and that inspired me greatly, as you know. He was a dedicated teacher and a good man. Both Ron and I had high regard for Ed.

Mr. Ludwig was a great help and a great influence to me during my years at Tolman High School (I was class of 1974). I went on to college as a music education major and I am to this day a musician and music teacher. Thanks, Mr. Ludwig.

When I auditioned for the Tolman Chorus in 1968, he had me sing "Born Free" while he played the piano. He was a good man, a gentleman. My deepest sympathy to the Ludwig family.

A fine music teacher. Thank you.
