Not sure what to say?

Mahay Family, my deepest condolences go out to your family. Mr. Mahay was a great man who had a passion for bringing out the best in everyone around him. He will be forever remembered in our hearts.

The Mahay Family:

Sorry for your loss. Ed an I played on St. Theodore's Basketball and Baseball teams. We rode the 63rd st. Street Car together to Mt. Carmel H. S. Unfortunately we lost touch through the years, however some great memories. God bless.

Phil Gleeson

Dear Lee and Family,
Please know that our thoughts are with you all.

Lynne and Walt Drogosz

I have a lot of fond memories about Ed he had a heart of gold and I am positive that he is now in a much better place. God bless.

I had the pleasure of being coached both in baseball and in life by Ed Mahay at Robert Morris College in 2001 and 2002. He instilled a strong work ethic, demanded respect both for and from the game and players, and taught discipline and strength. Coach Mahay was a very compassionate and understanding man who will be missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

My prayers go to the entire family of Coach Mahay. He was a great coach who strived for greatness out of his players both as an athlete and as a human being. He will truely be missed, and his legacy will continue long into the future.

I had the opportunity to play for Coach Mahay 2003-2004. He was a great Coach and even greater human being. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My condolences to the family of Ed. I worked with him at area 3. He was a good person.

Coach Mahay was my pitching coach at Robert Morris College from 2000-2003. He was a genuine and thoughtful man that cared deeply for those around him. I speak on behalf of all the gentleman I played with that share the same regard that I do of Coach Mahay. He will be missed.
