My parents bought the first house that Ed designed and built in seattle . It is a wonderful house and my family had many wonderful experiences there . I will forward pics later..

Although it's been more than 40 years since we last met, Ed's death has saddened me greatly. He lived in a remote, abandoned farmhouse on Great Barrier Island, 60 miles off the coast from Auckland NZ, where he was my nearest neighbour.
Ed was a giant amongst men in every sphere of his life, yet never played the holier-than-thou card. In fact, he willingly taught those of us who wanted to learn many of the life skills he'd honed so meticulously over his remarkable career: art, music,...

Ed was one of the classiest, most generous people I have had the pleasure to work with. Thru a decade with a faculty who featured leaders in varying fields Ed stands out as the delightful catalyst for curiosity and deep learning. The world is a poorer place for the lack of Ed.
