Not sure what to say?

Dear Barbara and Nicole, I just learned today the sad news about Eddie's passing. He was a great guy. There are many UMies who started a successful life with words of wisdom and sometimes a small loan from Eddie. He was a great friend and mentor and will be mourned by all of his UMass sons. Bob Goodhue (Sigma Phi Epsilon, UMass '70)

My condolences to the Mantovani family. Ed was very kind to me and many of my Sigma Phi Epsilon brothers during our UMass tenure. At our annual get together on Cape Cod each August someone will bring his name up as we recall our UMass days. We all have fond memories of him. God bless.

I will miss my friend. He taught me many things, but most important to look at life with a smile. And could Eddie make you smile.

Nicole and Doug,

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Will miss Mr. Mantovani deeply. Will miss our morning coffee with Nicole and the twins. He and his family will always be in my thoughts and prayers

My friend Eddie will be missed. He was a great story teller, and golf instructor as well as a great player, but especially, Eddie was a real friend.

Ed was always a joy to talk to, and always made me laugh. He will be missed. My condolences to all of the Mantovani family.
