Not sure what to say?

I remember fondly serving with Army on the La Jolla Shores Planned District advisory board way back in the mid-1990s. He was such a nice man. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

My condolences to the Marshall family. Mr. Marshall was a memorable teacher. Loved hearing his stories about Racquel Welch when she attended LJHS. Other fav story of when he took one of his classes on a train trip to Mexico, oh my I think they could have made a movie about that trip (if memory serves me correctly!)

He was one of my favorite teachers at Mission Bay. He was one of those teachers who you could distract him into telling a story because he was so good at it. His story about WWII, a Jeep and chickens could take up a whole hour. I did learn a little Spanish in class and can quote lessen one Hola Paco que tal if we meet in the after life to which he will reply Muy bien y tu. Thank you for making my High School days happier

Mr Marshall was the best not only teacher, but person. I will never for get the concern, compassion and words he gave me when I crashed my Mom's car,DUI,at 16. He was my 2nd year Spanish teacher in 1975. I think of him often and wondered about him.My condolences to his family.

Our condolences to Mr. Marshall's family. My wife Connie and I met in a Spanish class in 1968 taught by Mr. Marshall at Mission Bay High School. We have fond memories of an inspirational teacher and gentleman that he was.

So sorry to learn this sad news. I have not had contact with Army for several years but will always remember our time at UCSD and campus tours and our years on the La Jolla Planned District Review Board. He was a charming gentleman.
