Not sure what to say?

Ed Martin a great leader. He taught you by setting an example, not by ordering as a boss! Ed interviewed me for my first job at Pfizer in Process Research Department. I knew, right then during our interview dinner (also accompanied by wonderful Jeannie (Ed's wife),Keith Blackwood, my supervisor-to-be (also accompanied by his wife Barbara, a superb lady), and Moyca (my wife) that Groton was going to be my destination. It was indeed one of the best decision that I have taken in my life). I...

Condolences to Tere and her whole family. You all are in my thoughts.

So sorry to hear about the passing of your dad.Tom and I often think about all the good times shared with the Martin family, Fourth of July at Joe's house, boating and fishing . Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Linda and Martin family, You are in my prayers. Grateful yo have seen you today Linda. Sincerely, Roberta (Turilli) Lewis

Edward G. Martin was a devoted husband and father (and I expect a wonderful grandfather and great grandfather). Ed was a super boss and active community member. Ed organized my on-site job interview for an entry level Chemical Engineer position in the Groton laboratories in January, 1969, fifty five years ago. The interview process was so motivating, I altered my expected career trajectory. In June Ed helped me find a furnished apartment in Groton (Al Gilman convinced the rental agent to...

Ladies, I am so sorry to read about your dad. His picture is exactly like I remember him. Childhood was shared with the Martin kids. Wishing you all peace. I’ve been looking for Linda.

I remember Your dad was always smiling and happy. He loved his family and was so wonderful with his grandchildren. He was warm and caring. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Love Jody Beaudoin

Growing up, I was a frequent visitor to my friend Linda’s house. I remember her dad as always cheerful, patient and welcoming, regardless of the pandemonium created by us kids! God bless his passing and his family.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Your father was an amazing patriarch to a wonderful family. I will always remember the beautiful memories and kindness he showed to me. I still think about his squash flowers. He is at peace with his loving wife now and has transcended to a beloved ancestor. What a wonderful life he had and it should be celebrated. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Love you always - Sam
