Not sure what to say?

"Eddie Mac"... That was my moniker for a true friend that be-friended me, when I transferred to Bellevue from the hamlet of Mars, PA in my Junior year of HS. We became good friends, and played many rounds of BB in his small back yard, there in Bellevue. He towered over me, as I was the smallest kid in the class of '58. I remember many 2-on-2's with Eddie, Tim Wilson, Ronnie Falvo & myself in his backyard!

Him Mom("Missy Mac"), always was there-with 'toasted cheese sandwiches' & iced...

I was saddened to learn of Ed`s passing. He revived fond memories of the Bellevue vs. Avalon basketball rivalry. I was always torn between rooting for my Alma Mater or Avalon(my dad, Harry Dennison, was the coach). I extend my deepest sympathy to Ed`s Family.
Merry Dennison Houser - (BHS `58)

I am so fortunate to have had the opportunity to get to know Dr Ed Mc Farlane. He was a great support to me as a student athlete as I was finding my way at Davis and Elkins college. He was a positive influence and the life lessons he thought me stay with me to this day. I am eternally grateful to this great man for all the nurturing and support I received from him.

On behalf of all my D&E brothers and sisters who had the privilege of working with Ed, sat in his classroom, sat in his office, challenged him on badminton court, we will all remember him with respect and honor. Ed's contributions to the D&E family will not be forgotten. He was a positive, innovative leader and we will all miss him dearly. This loss is amplified by the large number of people who have loved him and been loved by him. He made D&E better, he made each of us better, I am grateful...

On behalf of the Class of Bellevue High School 1958. I send our condolences.
I personally knew Eddie since kindergarden through high school. I remember him as easy going and the tallest guy in our class.
Marlene Woods ( Class Historian)

My thoughts and prayers to Nancy and the children as you begin this journey. Dr. McFarlane was my advisor at D&E who inspired me to give my best and do well for others. My heart sings with joy that I had the opportunity to know these wonderful people. God Bless you in the days ahead and may you always hold your memories close for they will bring you joy.
