I have such fond memories of my Great Uncle Eddie...although I didn't get to see the family often I always remember his bright smile at almost every family gathering I was able to attend. His stories about Nana always kept her memory alive for me. A sorrowful loss to all his family. A true representative of the "Great Generation" for whom this Nation can never repay for their sacrifices and commitment. A Naval hero who was witness to the confusion, horror, stress and anxiety of war. My Uncle, a true role model, always a smile, a good word and sincere concern. He will be missed.
