EJ was a classmate at SCHS and I was so sorry to hear of his passing. Condolences to his family. Last night in Stamford CT (7/22/23) a Canon was shot off over the Sound in his honor at a party with old friends he would have enjoyed ...he was missed.

Ed and I first met in law school, and over the next 40 years were classmates, co-workers, professional adversaries and colleagues. Most of all, we were friends. I have enough memories to fill pages. Many of them are private jokes or experiences we shared, and I can’t help laughing when I think of some irreverent comment he made. Eddie and I worked (and played) together for over 10 years at the Onondaga County DA’s office. When involved in a case, he was tenacious and brilliant. During “down time” he was brilliantly hysterical. The stories and witticisms would fill up volumes. He loved his job, his co-workers, the legal community, his partners in law enforcement and, more than anything else by a long shot, his family.
