Edward J. "Bud" Meier

I found Bud's obituary two weeks ago, and was sad to hear of his passing. It doesn't seem long ago that Lucille passed, too. We spent many hours with them at Fin & Feather, Turtle Reef Club, fish fries, MYC sailing, and even sitting next to the hospital bed of his best friend, (my husband's father), Vern Meyer, in Florida & in Michigan. Many laughs, many stories, and many memories we shared. Will miss talking to him about WW2 & more. He was fun, interesting, and loved his time with my in laws...

he was always there to help when help was
required. A fine gentleman he was.

Bud meant a great deal to me. He was one of those special people who went out of his way to help others. I first met Bud at John Jacobsen's office. I was John's secretary. Bud was a volunteer driver for the Red Cross. As Bud waited for his rider to finish up their appointment at Hackley Hospital, Bud would bring donuts over to John's office for everyone to share.
