Ed and I worked together at BASF in 1984 and 1985. He was for sure a unique and wonderful man, a pleasure to work with, and I still think of him after many years. The first night I met Ed, he sent me out to his Pacer to grab his copy of Carl Sagan's COSMOS! I was sorry to hear of his passing. My heart goes out to his family.
