Not sure what to say?

Uncle Eddie, you were such a wonderful part of my time in Boston and what a lifesaver! You always put a smile on my face.

Nan, Kathy and family, I've been sending you all thoughts and prayers. I miss you all and wish I could be there. I love you.

My dearest Uncle Eddie, my Godfather, my "rock", you will be so greatly missed by so many...thank you for your generous spirit and sharp wit. You and Nancy are a shining example of integrity, commitment and love of family and friends. Thank you for being such an integral part of my best memories. I will love you and cherish you always! Karen Doherty and Family

Although I did not know Mr. Melia, I read many stories in the Ledger about what a devoted grandfather he was as well as greatgrandfather. What a courageous man to have fought so hard in the name of his family to change the laws and possibly prevent another tragedy. His name will live on as well as the work he did. Your family is in my prayers.
