Edward A. Menke

I grew up at 275 Harding in Waukegan and Mr. & Mrs. Menke ( Ed and Gert ) and their children lived diagnonally across the street.Ed was a very capable fellow and a fine father. I believe he was promoted at his job with Public Service and moved to Dalton or near Harvey. We really missed having them in the neighborhood.Of course, I knew Mickey quite well and even saw him from time to time on Northwestern's campus. I should like to express my sympathy to the entire family.

To the Menke family, our deepest sympathy for his passing.ED was a truly great person . I know he was very proud of of his long and dedicated service with Com Ed. He was most helpful to me during our years there.Mel and Mary Taylor
